Synopsis

KANATA is the story of Alex, a new graduate engineer 

desperately looking for a job, taking place in the early 2000's 

recession just after the high tech bubble collapsed. Alex' efforts to 

create a revolutionary medical device are doomed to failure when he 

decides to join Mike, a doctor who is more motivated by profits than 

medicine.

Mike Goldenspiel (30-45): Mike's a doctor who likes  gadgets and favors

revenue over people's well being. He doesn't understand  much about

technology but likes to pretend he does. He talks fast. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some driving will be required.

Alex Hussein (25-30):  Alex is a new grad engineer with MIDDLE EASTERN

ROOTS. He's passionate about technology. He's also a tense person.

SUPPORTING

Stephanie (25-45): Woman who has accidentally injured a man in a car 

accident.
