These days more and more restaurants seem to be giving up
their old fries in favor of
those disgusting breaded fries.
History
- First, Kentucky Fried Chicken
swapped their fries. They are actually the worst offenders
because, not only did they change their fries, but they
launched a big publicity campaign advertising the fact that
they did it.
- Then A&W followed suit.
- And now Burger King
has gone and poisoned their fries!
Possible explanations
- These restaurants are seeking a quick way to get out of the
food business.
- They are unable to meet high consumer demand, so they have devised
a strategy to reduce consumer demand.
